The response in Ireland
Ireland is following the advice of the:
- World Health Organization (WHO)
- European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC)
Britain is taking a different response. It is no longer a member of the EU.
Ireland and the UK have different:
- case definitions for possible cases of COVID-19
- guidance about self-isolation
Checks at airports
The advice from experts is that there is currently no need for temperature checks on passengers arriving at Irish airports.
