Dublin Oak to the final!

For the third year in a row, Dublin Oak Academy’s U16 Soccer Team is playing the FAI Leinster Final.

On April 18th we will play the FAI Leinster Final, which we have won in the last two consecutive years.
This match comes after months of positive outcomes by training and getting winning results on the latest matches.

We wish the best of luck to all our players to defend the cup and keep it in Dublin Oak Academy for the next year.

Ping-pong players on playoffs

Our top five Ping-pong players won the last ping-pong match played in Dublin Oak Academy’s facilities.

These individual and pair matches were not a big obstacle for our athletes, but as we keep going in the playoffs, the cpmètence will raise the bar to higher levels.

Ski Trip: Mission Accomplished

For most of the students, the Ski trip is the most awaited trip of the year, not only because of the skiing but also because of the countries, cities and places that we visit during these 10 days.

The first stop was Munich, a famous city for its World War lI historical sites and architecture. The next city was Innsbruck, where our Skiing sessions took place with amazing landscapes and slopes to have a lot of fun.

Schwangau and Salzburg were quick stops, but we really took advantage of the moments we had on there and we were amazed at the landscapes and castles there.

With no doubts, Vienna and Budapest surprised us too with historical landmarks and their own histories.

St. Valentine’s Party

FAI U16 2nd place

Dublin Oak Academy’s Soccer Team played the final against Temple Carrig School after a good performance during the season.

Unfortunately, the match did not go as expected and we were defeated.

All participants received the silver medal with big desires to get to another final as soon as possible and bring another trophy home.

Trip to Paris

The new students arrived to Dublin Oak Academy from more than five different countries to begin what could be the greatest year of their lives.

Nowadays, studying abroad is almost a necessity in order to have an integral education where the student learns about other cultures, but also about himself and the values of life that he needs. And all of this is what they develop in a boarding school such as Dublin Oak Academy.

We are sure that this is going to be a great year for them and for the academy.

Trip to Manchester

Every Dublin Oak Academy student had a great time visiting Manchester for two days.

The first day we went to the Eithiad Stadium for the Manchester City vs New Castle match. This was an amazing experience thanks to our first row tickets and the opportunity to enjoy an elite sports event.

The next day, we enjoyed Shrek, the musical in the Palace Theatre, a beautiful building and entertainment centre. After that, we visited the Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester City’s home ground.

2nd place FUTSAL Leinster Championships 2017

After fighting for the honor to become the Wicklow representative team, the Dublin Oak Futsal Team became the 2nd greatest futsal team in Leinster.

The team played a total of 5 matches, loosing 1 and winning the other 4, and scored 16 goals, which 10 of them were made by Diego Sierra. They only received 5 goals in the whole competition.

Unfortunately for the team, 3 players got injured in the final and the final score was 3-1 in favor of the Good Counsel College.

With no doubts, the futsal representative team of Dublin Oak Academy did a great job in the FUTSAL Leinster Championship 2017.
