80 strangers became my brothers

When my mom told me that i was going to go study abroad 8,500 km from my small town, well i was terrified, i didn’t want to go, i was going to go live with total strangers for 1 year.

When i got there i didn’t know how different everyone was, from what i knew. I took this trip with about 80 strangers which 80 of those became my brothers, they became friends that i will cherish and see for the rest of my life.

Life in the academy, even though i was 9,000 kilometers away from home, i never thought about that, people in the academy made us feel as though we were at home, before i was at the academy i thought i was close to god, but when i was at the academy i never knew how up close and strong a connection can be with god.

My year in the academy was the best year of my life and there is no doubt about it.
